Previously located at 1702 Shearn St, that lot was bought by a townhome Builder who then generously donated the house to FW Heritage. We moved this beautiful, historic Folk Victorian era home to 1203 Edwards St, where she now majestically sits.
Built c. 1899, this house is a true treasure, as so much of its original features – 12″ baseboards, window and door trims, 3″ hardwood floorboards, kitchen built-ins and exposed shiplap walls – are still intact and in immaculate condition.
During the Respectful Restoration, no square footage was added, and the floor plan of the house was maintained. The parlor, used for receiving guests has been kept intact and continues to serve as an intimate space to welcome friends and family before entering the rest of the living spaces of the home!
*1203 Edwards is a 2016 Good Brick Award winner.
