We’re super excited to share this news – we’ve been working on floor plans for a Respectfully Built, new construction, 2-story home, that we will build right here in the First Ward! And we’ve just purchased the perfect vacant lot for it!

In the last few years, we’ve had a number of young families get in touch with us wanting to move into the First Ward, and into a larger home for their growing families. We’ve also had calls from those who need a couple more bedrooms to use as offices as they’re now working from home a few days a week, or some, permanently.

So, we got to work designing floor plans for a family friendly, open plan, 2-story home that will hopefully meet the many needs of a home and family in today’s world! This CORNER lot home will have 5-6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and 3 generous sized porches! There will be a bedroom with an en-suite bath on the first floor – super convenient for visiting friends or family.

One of the rooms upstairs has been designed as a game room / flex space – perfect as a separate space for the kids and their sleepovers, or family movie nights! Every room has large windows letting in lots of natural light.

On the exterior of the property, there will be a 2-car carport – park your cars, throw a crawfish boil, start a woodworking project – a flexible space whatever your needs may be! There will also be large yard – perfect for a pool, pets and parties!

We are looking forward to the build process and to welcome a new family to First Ward!
