1810 Kane St

We met 1810 Kane’s homeowner a number of years ago at one of our FW Heritage homes. She knew she wanted to live in a historic home, but at that time, wasn’t ready to buy. Fast forward to 2018 and she called to say she bought a home in historic Old Sixth Ward!

This beautiful, late 1890s Queen Anne was previously a 2 bed/1 bath home. Now, Respectfully Restored and Respectfully Added-On, she is a generously sized 4 bed/2.5 bath home – filled with historic touches and many necessary modern amenities!

We are so proud and pleased that the homeowner and her family entrusted us with the restoration and the sensitive addition. Working closely with the Architect and us (the general contractors), their input and involvement throughout the design and planning process was invaluable and is the key factor that transformed this house into a home sweet home — joining the ranks of the many other magnificent historic homes in the Old Sixth Ward!
